For more than 100 years, the Restaurant Buech has stood high above Herrliberg, shaded by tall beech trees in the middle of an old vineyard. Here, harmonious landscape, fun-loving people and culinary delights combine in a unique way.

In the Restaurant Buech we spoil you as we have for a long time. Under beech trees you look out over a small vineyard, snow-capped mountains gleam in the background, Lake Zurich lies at your feet. Treat yourself to some time out with seasonal dishes and delicate wines. Whether indoors or outdoors, the Buech delights you with the most beautiful moments.
Our own boat will take you from the city, from Storchen Zurich, via Alex Lake Zurich to Herrliberg and back.

The Buech has preserved the charm of a genuine country tavern: creaking floors, venerable aged panelling and wooden tables that have been polished for generations.
Unique - The wide view across Lake Zurich to the softly rounded hills of the Hirzel. Behind it, the great peaks of the Glarus and Central Swiss Alps all the way to the Jungfraujoch.

Cantina alla Maggia, our new wine brand, is a testament to our establishment's commitment to innovation and improvement. Since 1930, we've been synonymous with quality products from Ticino. As part of The Living Circle, we're dedicated to honouring this reputation, built over the years and carried forward into the future. Our aim is to distinguish ourselves in the rich panorama of top-tier Ticino viticulture. Marco Zanolari will become CEO of The Living Circle Group AG
The Board of Directors of The Living Circle appoints Marco Zanolari as the new CEO. He will take over the role of Group Executive Management from Jürg Schmid, who has been performing the function on an interim basis, as of 1 August 2023. Zanolari was previously CEO of the Grand Resort Bad Ragaz AG.

Ascona Riserva takes 3rd place in Falstaff's Merlot Trophy 2022
Falstaff once again went in search of the best Merlot in Switzerland. In third place, with 94 points, is the Ascona Merlot Riserva 2018 from Terreni alla Maggia. A spicy and flattering Merlot that matures for around 24 months in small French oak barrels. An acknowledgement of the great skill and flair that our Ascona winery demonstrates year after year when it comes to the Merlot grape.
